1939 NY World's Fair Greyhound map is currently selling for $12 on ebay.  A Tie bar was recently sold on this site: www.msjudith.net/wf/wf2.html

Good Luck!

There is one for Sale on Ruby Lane for $58 dollars, one on eBay for sale at $150 and one for sale at an antiquarian book seller in Tennessee. I'm waiting to hear what their copy is for sale for. How will you be selling this book? Do you normally do a search at eBay, Ruby Lane or Google to get estimates for things? If not, you should. That is basically all I did and was able to find out all this information in just a few minutes. What yours will actually sell for, of course, depends on the market, whether people are looking for your particular item and what they are willing to spend. You may want to think about selling through an auction. www.worldsfairauction.com has 2-3 on-line auctions each year and you could consign it with them. I am NOT employed or have any business relationship with their company, but I have bought from them in the past. You have a beautiful volume that looks to be in very good condition. Good luck with the sale of your item. Happy Antiquing!

The reason I ask about a date is because there were two worlds fairs in Chicago...one in 1893 and one in 1933. Thank you.

What is the date of the book? 1933? Can you scan or photograph the cover and get it to me? What is the condition of the book. Has anybody written on any of the pages or attached anything to the pages?

Anybody in the WF group collect or have any matchbook covers from the 1939-40 New York World's Fair? I'm trying to get all known covers in my collection. Those of us into these know of 557 including variations, but previously unknown NYWF covers seem to pop up from time to time. My own collection numbers 363, so I've got a ways to go to "git 'em all." I'd appreciate hearing from any of you.......thanks. Mike Schwimmer
