My daughter bought this article at a garage sale because she thought it was interesting and wanted to find out what it is. The sellers didn't know. It measures 8 X 15 inches and there are little sliding pieces of wood that have knobs that go over areas that are concave. There is nothing to keep the sliders in place as in a "drawer like" design.
