Does anyone know what these are for?

I bought these items at an auction last week, but do not know exactly what they are for. The top one appears to be some sort of slicer, but it has a divider in the middle. They both came in groups of items and the auctioneer provided no descriptions. The rolling pin is flat on the bottom and has those diagonal cuts all along the top. I cannot figure out what it is for.Any help would sure be appreciated!See More

Is this something for music or a bird call?

I found this item at a garage sale last week and cannot quite figure out what its for. Its 10 1/2" long and is constructed of wood with a lead mouthpiece and another piece of lead where the sound comes out. On the top it says G, Fl. Maj. On the side of the blowing pipe it says Pat'd and what looks like'87. It looks like it is very well made and produces a loud shrill sound when blown into. It does not sound the same as a G, G#, or Gb played on the piano. Any help would be greatly appreciated.See More

Anyone Recognize The Mark On This Art Pottery Vase?

I got this vase at an auction last week. It was extremely dirty and after I cleaned it up, I thought it looked pretty nice. It is definetly old and has the little square incised mark on the bottom that I cannot find in any of my pottery books. I hoipe that someone recognizes it.See More

"I think that this thing is way too heavy for a baby rattle. A baby could get hurt bad with this thing."

CXan Anyone Tell Me What This Bell Is For?

I bought this bell at an auction recently and cannot figure out what it is for. It is made of bronze and measures 6 1/2" long and the ends are 2" in diameter. Each end contains a ball thats creates a bell sound when the object is moved. It has no markings on it of any kind. Any help is appreciated.See More

Does Anyone Know What this Eagle is For?

I recently got this neat eagle statue. It is 11" tall and has a wingspan of 10 1/2". There are little hooks all along the bottom of the wings and there is a small cup in the back. On the bottom it is marked Germany and is made of pot metal. The guy I got it from seemed to think it was for hanging and displaying medals. I'm not so sure. Any ideas of what its and what its worth?
