"Hi. It might be chalkware underneath the painted finish but all the chalkware I've had in the past did not look like this. It doesn't appear to be a thick substance covering the mold. So, that's another reason I don't think…"

Rabbit

Hi,Can someone tell me what this rabbit is called (other than a rabbit) and if it is old? Any value? It measures 12" long and is 7 1/2" tall. The bottom looks like wood, but the body is made of a powder-like substance (not paper mache). When I scraped in one of the cracks it looks like a mold underneath that has a gray color.
